2nd day's debate on No Cofidence Motion in Parliament

The 2nd day’s debate on the no-confidence motion in the Monsoon Session of Parliament began with Rahul Gandhi’s speech. In his 35-minute speech, Rahul spoke on the Bharat Jodo Yatra and Manipur.

“Our Prime Minister has not visited Manipur till date. For them, Manipur is not Hindustan. I went to the relief camp. I talked to women and children. The Prime Minister has not done it till date.

The army can bring peace there in a day. You are not doing it because you want to kill Manipur in India. You are not the protector of Bharat Mata, you are the killer of Mother India.

In response to Rahul’s speech, Union Minister Smriti Irani said- Rahul talks about the murder of Bharat Mata. The Congress claps. This is a sign of who has the traitor in the mind.

New controversy about Rahul Gandhi:

There was also a new controversy on 2nd day’s debate about Rahul Gandhi. Irani accused Rahul Gandhi of misbehaving with women MPs. The BJP has complained to the Speaker about this.

Rahul Gandhi expressed his gratitude to the Speaker and offered an apology. At the beginning of his speech, Rahul Gandhi addressed the Speaker, saying, “First and foremost, I would like to thank you for reinstating my parliamentary position. The last time I spoke, it did cause some discomfort. My strong focus on Mr. Adani had an impact not only on you but also on your senior leaders, causing them some distress. The difficulties they faced did reflect upon you, and for that, I apologize. I was merely stating the truth.”

Rahul continued by addressing his BJP colleagues, assuring them not to be afraid and emphasizing that he wouldn’t discuss Adani. He said, “To my friends in the BJP today, there is no need to fear. I won’t be discussing Adani today. You can remain calm. My speech is taking a different direction today. Rumi once said that words that come from the heart reach the heart. Today, I don’t want to speak from the mind; I want to speak from the heart. I won’t be as aggressive towards you all today. Maybe I’ll throw a couple of punches, but you can relax.”

Blamed Prime Minister Modi :

Rahul stated, “A few days ago, I visited Manipur. Our Prime Minister has never visited Manipur because, for him, Manipur is not part of India. I used the term ‘Manipur’ in that context. The reality today is that Manipur has not been spared. You have divided and broken Manipur. I visited relief camps, spoke with women and children. The Prime Minister has not done this.”

Rahul Gandhi continued, saying, “Just as I said at the beginning of my speech that India is a voice, it’s the voice of the people, the voice of the heart. You killed that voice in Manipur, which means you killed Mother India’s voice in Manipur. You are anti-national, not patriots. That’s why your Prime Minister cannot go to Manipur, because he has committed the murder of Hindustan, the murder of Mother India in Manipur. You are not guardians of Mother India; you are her killers.”

The Speaker Intervention :

The Speaker intervened, saying, “Mother India is our mother. Please maintain decorum while speaking in the House.” To this, Rahul responded, “I am speaking about my mother. You killed my mother in Manipur. One mother sits here, and you killed another mother in Manipur. The army can bring peace there in a day. But you’re not doing that, because you want to kill Manipur in India.”
