The India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), a coalition of opposition parties, has kicked off its third assembly in Mumbai. The next two days will witness the convergence of leaders from 28 parties to deliberate on critical strategies and challenges ahead.

Recent Discord Takes Center Stage:

The tussle emerged when Congress spokesperson Alka Lamba made a statement during a party meeting, revealing that preparations were underway for all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

This statement triggered a flurry of controversy, prompting numerous Congress leaders to distance themselves from Alka Lamba’s assertion. Amidst this, an intriguing remark arose, questioning the essence of unity in the “INDIA” alliance when individual contestingseemed to be the trajectory.

Interestingly, during the initial joint press conference following the meeting of opposition parties in Patna on June 23, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal was conspicuously absent. Kejriwal’s absence became noteworthy as he departed for Delhi prior to the press conference.

The Aam Aadmi Party, in response, issued a statement asserting that the Congress needed to clarify its stance on the contentious ordinance of the Central Government. The statement hinted at a possible rift, indicating that the Aam Aadmi Party would abstain from any further meetings until Congress addressed this concern.
