Jay Shah elected ICC Chairman unopposed on August 27, 2024.

Shah, currently BCCI Secretary, will take charge on December 1.

He replaces Greg Barclay, whose term ends on November 30.

Shah is the only candidate for the ICC Chairmanship.

At 35, Shah will be the youngest ICC Chairman in history.

His vision includes promoting cricket globally and integrating new technologies.

Previous Indian ICC Chairmen include Dalmiya, Pawar, Srinivasan, and Manohar.

The BCCI will soon need a new Secretary, with Rohan Jaitley as a possible successor.

Shah’s leadership will focus on expanding cricket’s formats and global presence.
